Scerra, Stubba and Tracy All Score In Win; Herkimer Women's Soccer Undefeated at 10-0

The lady Generals continued their hot streak with a 4-0 win over Onondaga CC on Friday night. Herkimer was quick to score just over a minute into the game when Ashleigh Tracy played the ball through the defense and Maria Scerra beat the goalie for the first goal.  Tracy then netted her own goal on a beautiful outside shot about ten minutes later putting the Generals up by two through the first half.  A chilly second half  started the same way for Herkimer as Scerra took control of the ball in middle of the field and beat a few defenders before hitting the upper corner of the goal for her second tally. Scerra then assisted the next goal as she fed the ball over the defense for freshman Krista Stubba to run on and score the last goal of the night.  Amber Swanston had 6 saves in goal for Herkimer as the defense in front of her kept pace with any attacks. The Lady Generals are back in action on Sunday at North Country Community College for a 1pm start.
