The Herkimer women's soccer team defeated Jamestown CC in the Region III A semi final at Wehrum stadium by a score of 2-0. Herkimer will travel this weekend to Tompkins Cortland CC to face the winner of the Alfred State/Genesee CC in the Region III A Championship game.

The Mountain Valley Collegiate Conference recently announced their 2009 All Conference awards. Herkimer County Community College women's soccer coach Amy Dommer of Herkimer was named Coach of the Year. Maria Scerra, a sophomore striker from Saratoga, was named Player of the Year.
