Volleyball Team Places Second in Alfred Tourney

Alfred, NY.   Herkimer’s women’s volleyball team opened their campaign with a strong second-place finish in the Alfred State season kickoff tournament.  Six teams competed in the event. 

The Lady Generals won three of their five matches.  That proved worthy of second place in the tourney.  

Herkimer’s Marissa Mowers (pictured) and Danielle Swanston won All-Tournament Team honors.
