Herkimer Volleyball competes in Cara Bryant Memorial Tourney at OCC

Syracuse, NY - The Herkimer Generals Women's Volleyball team went 1-4 over a two day period as they took part in the Cara Bryant Memorial Volleyball Tournament at Onondaga Community College on  Friday and Saturday October 7th and 8th. The highlight of the competition for Herkimer was a straight set victory over Cayuga CC by a score of 25-21 and 25-22.

The Generals were led in the tournament by Marissa Mowers (Dolgeville) who totaled 25 kills and 71 digs in the five matches. Morgan Mielnicki (Sauquoit) added 47 assists in the tournament as well.

With the 1-4 mark in the tournament, the Generals record drops to 4-18 on the year. Herkimer travels to Queensbury on Wednesday, October 12th to take on Mountain Valley Conference opponent Adirondack Community College. The match starts at 6:00 PM.
