Herkimer Volleyball drops straight set match to Adirondack CC

Queensbury, NY - The Herkimer Generals Women's Volleyball team went on the road last night and dropped a straight set match to Mountain Valley Conference opponent Adirondack Community College by scores of 14-25, 23-25, and 17-25. With the loss, Herkimer falls to 4-19 overall and 1-3 in MVC play.

Once again, the Generals were led by senior Marissa Mowers (Dolgeville), who had 9 kills, 12 digs, 3 aces, and 1 assist in the match. Morgan Mielnicki (Sauquoit) added 20 assists and 3 blocks while Lisa McMillian (Johnstown) chipped in with 8 digs and 3 kills.

Herkimer takes the court again on Saturday, October 15th as they travel to Troy, NY to take part in the Region III POD mtach hosted by Hudson Valley Community College.
