Kristy Lynch is entering her fifth season as Head Volleyball Coach at Herkimer County Community College.  Under Coach Lynch, the program has advanced significantly. The team is coming off of a stellar year, winning the 2010 Region III Championship – their first since 1980 – and making an appearance at the NJCAA National Championships in Minnesota, placing eighth in the country.  

Coach Lynch was named Mountain Valley Conference Coach of the Year in 2007 and 2010. She continues to recruit quality student-athletes, building a competitive program for the Generals.  A 1999 graduate of HCCC with an A.S. in Physical Education, she competed on the Generals women's volleyball team and was named MVP in 1997 and 1998. 

In 2003, Lynch began coaching for the Caroga Lake Junior Olympic Volleyball Club under the direction of Jim Gabeler.  The Club has had great success and is one of the top programs in Central New York.  Lynch also coached the Oppenheim-Ephratah Varsity team for three years, leading them to a Division championship in 2007. 

Lynch holds a B.S. in Health and Physical Education from Ithaca College and a M.S in Curriculum, Instruction and Assessment from Walden University. She is currently employed as a health teacher at Johnstown High School. She resides in Oppenheim with her husband Brett and son Kellan.

Tiffani Spoor

Title: Assistant Coach, Volleyball

Tiffani Spoor is a Dolgeville native and comes from a long history of strong and winning volleyball teams at Dolgeville Central School.  As a four year varsity player, her high school team continued to be a top contender in the section.  Both her freshman and senior year the team was Sectional and Regional Champions for Section III, Class C.  She also played for the Junior Olympic Club team.   
Tiffani was the starting setter for the past two years at HCCC and was also named captain her sophomore year.  She is currently the assistant coach for the volleyball team and is finishing her degree in physical education.
