Herkimer Cross Country competes in Bronco Weekday Classic at SUNY Delhi

Delhi, NY - The Herkimer County Community College Men's and Women's Cross Country teams participated in the 14th Annual Bronco Weekday Classic 5K on Wednesday afternoon in Delhi, NY. The Generals competed against Region III foes SUNY Delhi, Broome CC, and North Country CC in the men's and women's races.

The men's team was led by the duo of Andrew Gregg (Homer) and Josh Wilcox(Watertown), who ran times of 19:01 and 19:21 respectively. Gregg finished 24th in the race while Wilcox finished 27th. The women's effort was once again led by Samantha Lawson (Liverpool), who finished with an outstanding time of 22:32 on the hilly course, earning a 10th place finish.

The Generals continue their season as they run in the Hamilton College Invitational on Saturday, Oct 8.
