Last Saturday the Herkimer Cross-Country team hosted Hudson Valley Community College and Fulton-Montgomery Community College.  On a cool day on the first of October the Generals led the pack in both women’s and men’s races.  See below for results.

Herkimer Cross Country Hosts 3rd Annual Zombie Run

The Herkimer Generals Cross Country team hosted the 3rd annual 1.5 mile zombie run fundraiser during Herkimer’s 50th Anniversary Fall Fest Celebration Saturday, October 1st.  This event had 14 students attend and six were able to complete the race surviving the zombies.  These winners were Bryn Regan, Hayden Lohmann, Phil Tanner, Kyler Ford, Brie Lohmann, and Makaila Maass.  Each winner was awarded a t-shirt for their valiant efforts through the zombie ridden track.  Hayden Lohmann finished first with an impressive time of 9:46 for the 1.5 mile race.

Cross Country Competes in SUNY Poly 4th Annual Wildcat Weekend Classic

Herkimer Generals men’s and women’s cross country teams traveled to Utica, NY and competed in SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s 4th annual Wildcat Weekend Classic Invitational Race.  Herkimer was one of 20 teams running and finished two runners in the top twenty women’s 6K (3.7 mile) race, and one runner in the men’s top twenty 8K (5 mile) race.
