#2 Generals defeat #9 Panthers on the road

DRYDEN, NY – Playing in their second game in three days, this time on the road against #9 Tompkins-Cortland Community College, the #2 Herkimer Generals prevailed 2-0 Wednesday (9/16) to increase their current win streak to seven games.

Herkimer (7-0, 0-0) has yet to allow a goal this season, outscoring opponent 43-to-0. Helping the Generals add to that total was Captain Teigha Ward (Ilion, NY) and Grace Johnson (Tully, NY). Doubling the Generals lead 23 minutes later in the 25th, as mentioned previously was Johnson. The midfielder scored on an assist from Kendra Henry (Owego, NY), giving her seven goals on the season, good enough for eighth best in the nation, accumulating four goals in her last three games.
