Volleyball loses to conference opponent

DELHI, NY – The Herkimer Generals women’s volleyball continued their away tour Wednesday (9/24) at SUNY Delhi, losing to the Broncos 3-0.

Herkimer (2-9, 1-2) played their seventh consecutive match away from home where the team is 1-9 (.111). Against the Broncos Herkimer lost each match by at least eight points (11-25, 9-25, 17-25), never getting a chance to set up their attack. Four players for the Generals had over 10 digs and the highest total of kills was four by Elena Edwards (Holland Patent, NY).

The team will stay on the road this weekend, playing in the Onondaga POD on Saturday (9/27). The Generals will face Jefferson, Cayuga and Onondaga.
