Dianna Ste-Marie was appointed as women’s volleyball coach for the 2015 season. 2016 will be her second season guiding the Generals, and will be responsible for scouting, recruiting, match and practice planning and player development.
Ste-Marie has been head coach for the women’s lacrosse team since 2007. In her first year as head coach, the women’s lacrosse team placed second in the regional tournament earning a spot in the national tournament. During her tenure, Herkimer lacrosse has produced 15 All-Region players and four NJCAA All-American players.
In addition to her coaching duties, Ste-Marie is employed as an assistant professor of physical education. She holds an associate degree from SUNY at Morrisville, a bachelor’s degree in Physical Education and master’s degree in Adaptive Physical Education from SUNY Cortland.
Ste-Marie is a member of the American Alliance of Physical Education, Health Recreation and Dance; NYS Association of Health, Physical Education, Recreation & Dance; National Soccer Coaches Association of America and is certified in EMT-Basic, NYS Certification, Physical Education and First Aid/CPR & AED.
