Jynnae Stevens - Green & Gold April 2022 Green and Gold Athlete of the Month
Herkimer College has announced its Green and Gold Athletes of the month of March. They are Lacrosse player Doug Powless (Six Nations, ON) and Track sprinter Jynnae Stephens (Schenectady, NY) win April’s Green and Gold athletes of the month.
Jynnae Stevens has qualified for Nationals May 12, 13, and 14th in the 100 Meter Dash and 200 Meter Dash. She is ranked is tied for first in the 200 Meter Dash and second in Region III in the 100 Meter dash and heading into the Regional Championships this Saturday May 7, 2022. Head Coach John Campagna “Jynnae has been very consistent for us this season and has quietly moved herself into position to be the top Region III sprinter”.
