Felder, Howard lead #2 Herkimer to win at North Country

Saranac Lake, NY - Derrick Felder (Yonkers, NY) scored 25 points as #2 Herkimer broke open a close game at halftime with North Country Community College and won 102-78 on Wednesday night in Saranac Lake, NY. The road win gives the Generals a record of 15-1 overall and 5-1 in Mountain Valley Conference play. It was also marked Herkimer's 12th win in a row.

Keshaun Howard (Brooklyn, NY) scored 20 points while Teshaun Beckles (Bronx, NY) added 17 points as the Generals took a 47-44 halftime lead and used a big run to start the second half to cruise home to the 23 point road win. Jaymes Jackson (Brooklyn, NY) pitched in with 13 points and Darius Hines (Troy, NY) notched 12 points to give Herkimer five players in double figures. 

The Generals now set their sights on a rematch with Hudson Valley Community College, which will take place Saturday afternoon in Troy, NY. The # 9 Vikings handed the Generals their only loss of the season back on November 10th in Herkimer, handing the Generals a 102-72 loss. The matchup of nationally ranked teams will tip at 1:00 PM.
