Generals start fast against Clinton

CLINTON, NY – Posting their second double-digit victory in just three games this season, the Herkimer Men's Basketball team defeated Clinton Community College 76-65 on Sunday in Clinton.

The Generals (2-1, MVC 1-0) had solid guard play again from RaShawn Collins II (Harlem, NY), Enson Garcia (Bronx, NY) and Wendall Williams (Syracuse, NY). The three collected 42 points together, with Collins finishing with 12 points and one rebound, Garcia finishing with nine points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals and Williams finishing with a team-high 21 points, four rebounds, two assists and two steals.

Following up with strong play in the front court was sophomore forward Jonathan Feiler (St. James, NY). Collecting his third straight double-double in three games this season, Feiler finished with 11 points, 10 rebounds, two assists and four steals.

The Generals next game is this Wednesday (11/13). It will be the team's second consecutive road game and conference game this week. Game time is scheduled for 8 p.m.
