Herkimer Bowling Wraps up their Season at Nationals

Buffalo, NY--  Wrapping up the 2017 season the Herkimer Generals Bowling team finished the National Championship tournament in 10th overall out of 16 for the women; and 13th overall out of 18 for the men.  On the women's side Korena Kinney (Taberg, NY) and Megan Durgan (Rome, NY) finished 6th in the doubles event.  79 women competed in this tournament and our Generals fared well.  Korena also finished 10th in all events with 2,064 pins.  Durgan also finished 25th in all events with 1,959 pins.  Haley Bertella (Canastota, NY) finished 24th with 1,960 pins in all events. Lastly, Kaitlynn Adsitt (Baldwinsville, NY) finished 42 in all events with 1,724 pins.

          There were 98 men competing in this National tournament.  Ean Hayner (Kingston, NY) fnished the best our of our Generals at 43rd with 1,952 total pins.  Hunter Guest (Middleburgh, NY) right behind him at 49th with 1,920 pins.  Brendon Budd (Norwich, NY) finished 53rd with 1,881 pins.  Justin Clarke (Queens, NY) in 60th with 1,765 pins and Shawn Zahray (Indian Lake) finished 80th with 1,390 pins total.  The Men finished 13th overall out of 18 men's teams at the tournament.
