Herkimer Women Finish First at MVCC Conference Match

Utica NY- For the second straight week, the Herkimer Women's Bowling team finished 1st at a conference match. The Men finished the day in 4th, after placing 3rd last week.  

For the women, Sophie Hyde(Mohawk, NY) posted her new career high with a 157 game. Also Sianna Kenyon(Ilion, NY) paced the field averaging 133 on the day. Men's high on the day was David Cook(Little Falls, NY) with a 227 game and Michael Carlson(Barneveld, NY) with a 608 series. 

Head Coach Tony Deluca said, "So far we're in a good place. Everyone has shown improvements every week and we're well on our way to being ready for Regionals. We need to keep the momentum and good vibes going in hopes of getting a national bid."

Herkimer Bowling is back in action Sunday (2/6) when they travel to Schenectady for the Schenectady CC Invitational.
