Generals Compete at Cazenovia College’s Homecoming Invitational

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. – Herkimer continued their season on Saturday, beginning their busiest stretch of the season this past Saturday (10/2) at Cazenovia College’s Homecoming Invitational.

For the men, Chase Bowman (West Canada Valley/Little Falls, N.Y.) and Chris Hardin (Rome Free Academy/Rome, N.Y.) continued to run at a consistent clip. On this day, Bowman took home 38th place with a time of 36:59.2, while Hardin finished 52nd in a time of 39:56.1.

As for the women, it was once again a showcase for Kaylan Zysk (Little Falls/Little Falls, N.Y.) and Catherine Chapman (DeRuyter/DeRuyter, N.Y.). Zysk, with a time of 22:25.2, grabbed 4th place for the 3rd straight meet. Meanwhile, Chapman took 41st in a time 36:22.0.

The Generals return to action on Wednesday (10/6) as they compete in SUNY Delhi’s Bronco Weekday Classic.
