Men's Golf Team finishes 4th in Region, Visconti qualifies for NJCAA National Championships

Syracuse, NY - Nick Visconti (Little Falls, NY) shot a two day total of 162 at the Region III Golf Championships at Timber Banks GC to finish 5th overall and qualify for the 2019 NJCAA National Championships that will be held in early June. The Herkimer Men's Golf team finished 4th place overall in Region III. 

Visconti shot 80-82 to finish just 4 strokes back of the Region III Champion, Ryan Mahardy from Adirondack. Erik Smith (McGraw, NY) finished 2nd for the Generals with a two day score of 179. Jacob Hazlett (Fort Plain, NY) shot 183 and Collin Williams (Newport, NY) carded a 196 to give the Generals their 720 total and 4th place finish. 

Visconti will now prepare for the NJCAA National Championships, which will be hosted by Jamestown Community College at Chautauqua Golf Course from June 3rd-5th.
