Herkimer Men's Lacrosse wins big over Mohawk Valley

Herkimer, NY -  The Herkimer Generals scored the first 11 goals of the game and cruised to an 18-3 home victory over rival Mohawk Valley on Saturday afternoon at Wehrum Stadium. With the win, the Generals improve to 3-0 on the season. 

Pat Gribbon (Stone Ridge, NY) continued his hot start to the season, scoring 5 goals and adding 3 assists in the game. Eddie White (Utica, NY) also had 8 points on the afternoon with 3 goals and 5 assists. Dylan Gruneisen (Potsdam, NY) also contributed 3 goals in the big win. A highlight of the day was freshman Wali Walker (Syracuse, NY) scoring his first career goal in the 4th quarter. Jack Babka (Draper, UT) and Ryan O'Hara (North Syracuse, NY) combined for 13 saves in goal against the Hawks offense.

The Generals get a week off before their next game on Saturday, March 31 as they will travel to Watertown, NY and take on Jefferson Community College. Game time is 1:00 PM at General Brown High School.
