Babka brothers lead Herkimer to 12-8 road win at Finger Lakes

Canandaigua, NY - Jace Babka (Draper, UT) scored 3 goals and added 2 assists while Jack Babka (Draper, UT) made 24 saves in goal to lead the Herkimer Generals to a 12-8 road win over Finger Lakes Community College on Wednesday afternoon in Canandaigua, NY. The win raises the Generals record to 4-4 overall with one game left in the 2019 regular season.

Zach St. Hilaire (Brasher Falls, NY) paced the Generals offensive attack with 4 goals on the afternoon. Alex Gorgas (Whitesboro, NY) scored 4 points in the win with 2 goals and 2 assists and Spencer Parks (Niskayuna, NY) added a goal and assist as Herkimer used a 6-1 run in the second and third quarters to pull away from the Lakers and secure the win. 

Herkimer now looks to complete their regular season with a trip to Utica, NY to take on long time rival Mohawk Valley on Saturday afternoon, April 27. The game is set for a 3:00 start time at Proctor Stadium.
