Goals in each half prove enough for Generals

TROY, NY – Coming off their first loss of the season to Bryant & Stratton College (1-0), Herkimer got back in their groove Wednesday afternoon against Hudson Valley, handing the Vikings a 2-0 defeat.

Almost 35 minutes later, Peter McAvoy (Dundee, Scotland) found the back of the net giving Herkimer the 2-0 lead. Connecting with McAvoy was teammate James Wilson (Woodford Green, England) in the 50th minute. The connection gave McAvoy his fifth goal and Wilson his fifth assist respectively.
