Herkimer Women drop heartbreaker at Hudson Valley, 82-81

Troy, NY - Herkimer battled back from a 10 point first quarter deficit but fell just of short in a heartbreaking 82-81 loss to Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday afternoon in Troy, NY. The loss drops Herkimer's record to 3-11 overall and 1-3 in the Mountain Valley Conference.

The Generals had four players reach double figures in scoring, led by Myjoi Adams (Pomona, CA) who had 25 points and 14 rebounds on the afternoon. Brittani Campbell (Rochester, NY) and Rebecca Judd (Herkimer, NY) each tallied career highs in scoring with 18 points and 10 points respectively. Clinique Robinson (Catskill, NY) added 15 points and Gabby Howard (Frankfort, NY) grabbed 11 rebounds in the losing effort.

Herkimer returns home on Saturday, Feb 2nd at 1:00 PM as they will host the Clinton Cougars in a Mountain Valley Conference Game. The Generals won the previous meeting in November up in Plattsburgh, NY by a score of 54-25.
