Generals Overpower Timberwolves

Tonight’s game versus the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves led to be one of Herkimer’s best performances on the pitch as they outscored their opponent 8-1.  Leading scorer Mikayla Blumenstock (Poland, NY) upheld her reputation putting away 5 out of the Generals’ 8 goals.  Two of which were unassisted and three were assisted by freshmen #11 Danielle Charland and #7 Jenna Rogers, and the third by sophomore #6 Alexys Bolton.  All of Blumenstock’s goals were earned in the first half when the Generals left the score 6-0.  The other goal of the half was scored by sophomore midfielder #10 Grace Johnson.

#3 Herkimer holds off Onondaga to win 1-0

The Herkimer Generals held the Onondaga Lazers scoreless on the Region III match up Thursday afternoon (9/1).  Herkimer goalkeeper #1 Honesti Crochran played a significant role in this win, saving four shots including a penalty kick by Onondaga’s #10 Natalie O'Brien.

HERKIMER, NY - Mikayla Blumenstock (Poland, NY) had both game winners for the Generals this week to help the team to a 2-0 start to the season.
