Herkimer over Delta

# 1 Herkimer takes down # 4 Delta CC in semifinals

Dryden, N.Y. - The #1 seed Herkimer Generals have made it to the championship game of the NJCAA DIII women's soccer nationals by defeating # 4 seed Delta CC (MI) in the semifinal game.  Herkimer lit up the score board first on a goal from none other than Mikayla Blumenstock (Poland, NY) on an assist from Hailey Couchman (Baldwinsvielle, NY) less than three minutes into the game.  Following suite six minutes later Sarah George would score on an unassisted goal giving the Generals a quick 2-0 lead.  Hailey Couchman would pick up another assist in the game but this time to teammate Caira Miles (Little Falls, NY) in the 17th minute.  Herkimer would score their 4th and final goal by way of Hailey Couchman who would record the goal unassisted to close out the half 4-1.  The Generals would go on to win by a score of 4-3.  


Herkimer will play in the NJCAA DIII women's soccer national championship game at 3 pm on Sunday November 12th.  You can watch the game on the NJCAA.org website where they will be live streaming the game for your enjoyment.
