Eight Generals earn spots on All Conference Team
Herkimer, NY - Herkimer softball earned eight spots on the Mountain Valley All-Conference team for the 2018 season. Out of the 11 possible spots, Herkimer took eight and swept the awards.
The softball players selected from Herkimer College are as follows:
Madisyn Butler (Richfield Springs, NY) - first base
Shannon Moore (Norwich, NY) - second base
Brooke Snyder (Santee, CA) - third base
Morgan Sgarlata (Durhamville, NY) – catcher
Kali Puppolo (Adams, MA) – pitcher
Jennah Hogan (Rensselaer, NY) – outfield
Julianna Finnerty (Pulaski, NY) – outfield
Keeanna Wolcik (Baldwinsville, NY) - designated player
Additionally, Keeanna Wolcik was named Player of the Year and Coach PJ Anadio was named Coach of the Year.
Coach PJ Anadio said, "I am extremely pleased and proud of all the ladies recognized by our Conference. It is a true testament to their tireless work and dedication to their sport." Anadio added, "Our conference is getting better and better each and every year and for Herkimer to be recognized with eight out of the possible 11 spots on the All-Conference Team is unprecedented. Not only are these eight young ladies extremely talented on the field, they are wonderful young ladies that represent our institution with the highest integrity imaginable."
