Volleyball ends season by taking 2 out of 3 at SUNY Adirondack POD matches

Glens Falls, NY - The Herkimer Generals Volleyball team concluded their 2019 campaign by taking 2 out of 3 matches at the SUNY ACC POD in Glens Falls on Sunday afternoon. The results gave the Generals a final record of 13-10 on the season and a perfect 5-0 in conference play as they finished as the Mountain Valley Conference Champions. 

 

On Sunday, the Generals opened the day by dropping a hard fought match to Adirondack Community College 3-2 with scores of 16-25, 25-20, 25-19, 23-25 and 13-15. They then played against North Country Community College winning 3-0 with scores of 25-5, 25-3 and 25-9. The Generals concluded the day with a game against Hudson Valley Community College and won 3-0 with scores of 25-17, 25-21 and 25-15. 

 

Herkimer General volleyball Seniors will be missed and we wish them luck in their future endeavors. He are the highlights from Sunday's POD match.

#1  Kiara Cherry  from Poughkeepsie, New York Had 2 kills, 70 assists, 8 aces, 27 digs and 2 blocks

 

#3 Kristin Brennan from Amenia, New York had 30 kills, 2 assists, 8 aces, 34 digs and 6 blocks

 

#4 Monique Mares from Wilmington, California   had 10 digs

 

# 9 Kerissa Marquissee  from Mohawk, New York had 1 kill, 3 assists, 4 aces, 68 digs and 1 block

 

#11 Abigail Elisofon from Waterloo, New York had 5 kills

 

# 15 Anna Rolince  from  Syracuse, New York had 11 kills, 5 assists, 4 digs and 5 blocks

 

# 18 Ashley Bosco from  Solvay, New York had 13 kills, 8 digs and 8 blocks

 

Although she is not a senior she will be missed next season

 

#14 Evonna Mower from Jordanville, New York had 17 kills, 2 assists, 2 aces, 13 digs and 7 blocks

 

We look forward to having our freshman back next season.
