Heather Vroman, September Athlete of the Month

Cross country runner Heather Vroman (Utica, NY) won the Bridgman Invitational at Finger Lakes Community College with a time of 21 minutes, 4 seconds. She also finished first in the 18-24 year old female group at the 14k Falling Leaves Road Race with a time of 1 hour, 3 minutes. “Heather has been recognized as a top contender for the National Championships. She works hard and has the athletic potential to finish the season on top. It’s exciting to see her drive and determination and we hope that it pays off at Regionals and Nationals,” said Coach Julie DelMedico. Vroman is a Liberal Arts and Sciences: Science major.
