Generals lose to #10 SUNY Broome on the road
BINGHAMTON, NY – In their second match of the season, the Herkimer Generals men's tennis team traveled to play #10 SUNY Broome on Thursday (4/14), losing to the Hornets 8-0.
In singles, the Generals had solid outings from Branden Garrett (Deerfield, NY) and Jared Vibbert (Oneida, NY). Each took their opponent to an extra set, losing in the tie breaker.
Then Garrett joined Brice Jacobs (Munnsville, NY) in doubles, coming four games short of the win, losing 8-4.
Up next for the tennis team is Onondaga on Tuesday (4/19). They'll travel to play the Lazers at 4 p.m. Onondaga is currently 4-5 on the season.
