LITTLE FALLS, NY – Allowing three runs in the ninth inning of Friday's (5/20) Region 3 Final Four game, the #2 Herkimer Generals baseball team lost to #3 Onondaga 7-4.
Herkimer's (32-10, 22-2) Zak Shaw (Fort Hunter, NY) allowed three runs in his final inning after relieving Sal Lovaglio (Dix Hills, NY) in the fourth inning. Lovaglio allowed four runs off of four hits, walking three Lazers.
The Generals will now face #4 Jefferson Community College on Saturday (5/21) at Veterans Memorial Park. The Cannoneers lost to #1 Niagara 5-0 in the opening round, getting no hit. Game time on Saturday is scheduled for 12 p.m. EST.
