Game 1: Collins Powers Generals in Shutout Win
Zowen Collins had a career day at the plate, driving in six runs on three hits to lead Herkimer to a commanding 12-0 win in the opener. Collins delivered a bases-clearing single in the first inning, an RBI single in the fourth, and a two-run double in the fifth to cap off his performance. On the mound, Brendan Rusnack was nearly untouchable, tossing five no-hit innings while striking out seven and walking two to earn the win. The Generals' offense tallied nine hits, while Jaden Madrid led the team on the basepaths with two steals. In total, Herkimer swiped four bases and turned a double play in the shutout win.
Game 2: Generals' Balanced Attack Completes the Sweep

Casey Burcroff, Marvin Hill, and Isaiah Ramos each drove in two runs, while Obiel Sanchez recorded two hits in three at-bats. Dylan Wolfson and Chase Brennan led the team with three walks apiece, contributing to Herkimer's patient approach. On the bases, the Generals wreaked havoc, stealing 13 bases, with Brennan, Kyle Kristel, Shiryu Sato, Sanchez, and Hill all swiping multiple bags. David Denten was solid on the mound, allowing just two hits and three runs over 6.1 innings while striking out four to earn the win. Jace VanValkenburg entered in relief to close out the game.
