Niagara opened the scoring in the bottom of the first thanks to three singles. Niagara first got on the board when Cameron Gruarin singled, scoring two runs.
A double by Alexander Graham extended the Niagara lead to 6-0 in the bottom of the third inning.
Niagara scored eight runs on five hits in the bottom of the seventh inning. Cam Gravelle drew a walk, scoring one run, Cooper Rossano was struck by a pitch, driving in a run, Dalton Harper tripled, scoring three runs, Evan Kohr homered to left field, scoring two runs, and Cooper Prizel singled, scoring one run.
Joe Czaja earned the win for Niagara. The pitcher surrendered four hits and two runs over three and two-thirds innings, striking out six and walking two. Spencer Natoli pitched five and one-third innings in relief for Generals. The pitcher surrendered six hits and eight runs (five earned) while, striking out four and walking three. Billy Cummings took the loss for Generals. The righty went one inning, giving up five runs (zero earned) on six hits, striking out one and walking none. Luke Liedka started on the bump for Niagara. The starting pitcher gave up three hits and one run over four innings, striking out five and walking five.
Brandon Hauk went 1-for-3 at the plate and led the team with one run batted in. Christian Mikulaski led Generals with two hits in five at bats. Generals had a strong eye at the plate, amassing eight walks for the game. Hauk and Kyle Kristel led the team with two free passes each.
Niagara amassed 18 hits in the game. Mike Schaffer and Kohr were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Niagara while hitting back-to-back. Kohr, Harper, and Graham each drove in three runs for Niagara. Gruarin and Prizel each collected multiple hits for Niagara.
