Oladitan and McGhee Named to 2025 NJCAA Men’s Basketball All-Star Game Roster
Herkimer General's Men's Basketball standouts Oladele Oladitan and Jayson McGhee have been selected to represent the Generals in the 2025 NJCAA Men's Basketball All-Star Game, set for Saturday, May 17 at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas.
The annual showcase, now in its 15th year, highlights 27 of the top players from two-year colleges across the country. This year's roster includes 26 current All-Americans and one returning honoree from last season. Oladitan and McGhee were instrumental in Herkimer's 2024–25 campaign, which culminated in a national runner-up finish.
Oladitan, a sophomore guard, was a dominant presence in the paint, showcasing his strength and agility on both ends of the floor. McGhee, a dynamic guard, provided scoring and energy that fueled Herkimer's postseason run, including a 40-point performance against eventual National Champion Mohawk Valley CC.
They'll join elite company in Las Vegas, competing alongside NJCAA Division I Player of the Year Isaac "Ike" Finlinson of Snow College, top scorer Vaugh Weems of North Idaho, and other standouts from all three NJCAA divisions. Oladitan and McGhee are among just six Division III players named to the All-Star roster.
The All-Star Game will be coached by 2025 national champions Greg Heiar of Trinity Valley and Tim Sandquist of Kirkwood, with teams selected via a coach-led draft set to be announced by the end of April. Tipoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET (4:30 p.m. PT) on May 17, and the game will stream live on YouTube.
