Bio
Chase Benton joins the Herkimer College coaching staff as an Offensive Assistant and Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Generals.
Benton arrives after helping guide Pfeiffer University to an USA South championship and a NCAA Division III Tournament appearance during the 2026 season as a member of the coaching staff.
A former standout midfielder and attackman, Benton brings championship experience both as a player and coach, having been part of three conference championship teams — twice as a player and once as an assistant coach.
Benton began his collegiate career at Herkimer College, where he earned NJCAA Region III Second Team honors as an attackman across two seasons. He then transferred to Pfeiffer University, where he continued his success as a midfielder, earning USA South All-Conference Second Team recognition while helping lead the program to conference championships and national tournament appearances.
A graduate of Pfeiffer University, Benton now returns to his alma mater with experience competing and coaching at both the junior college and NCAA levels. He will work primarily with the Generals’ offense while also overseeing the program’s strength and conditioning efforts.
