Herkimer Men’s Soccer Ranked No. 5 in NJCAA Division III Preseason Poll

The Herkimer College men's soccer team will open the 2025 season with high expectations, earning the No. 5 spot in the NJCAA Division III Preseason Poll. The Generals are one of three Region III programs ranked in the national top six, joining top-ranked Mohawk Valley Community College and No. 6 Cayuga Community College.

Herkimer, led by head coach Pepe Aragon, will begin its campaign with a pair of scrimmages — traveling to SUNY Oneonta on August 19 before hosting SUNY Morrisville on August 23. The regular season kicks off at home on September 3rd under the lights against Hudson Valley Community College in a Region III matchup.

The Generals' schedule features key conference tests, including a September 27 home clash with defending National Champion and No. 1-ranked Mohawk Valley, as well as an October 4 matchup against sixth-ranked Cayuga Community College.

Region III postseason play begins October 25 with the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals on October 28 and the championship on November 1 at Genesee Community College.
