Generals Compete at Region III Championships
The Herkimer County Community College men’s track and field team competed at the NJCAA Region III Championships, taking on the top junior college programs in the region in one of the most competitive meets of the season.

The Generals battled against a deep and talented field that included powerhouse programs such as Hudson Valley and Onondaga, gaining valuable championship experience across a full slate of events. Herkimer athletes competed in sprints, distance races, and field events, continuing to build depth and sharpen performances against high-level competition.
As a team, Herkimer finished sixth overall with five points, competing in a meet that featured some of the region's top performers and served as a qualifier for the national championships.
Despite the challenging field, the Generals continued to show growth and determination, using the meet as an opportunity to measure progress and compete at a championship level. The experience gained will be key as Herkimer looks to build toward future success and continued development within the program.
With the outdoor season reaching its peak, the Generals will look to carry this experience forward as they prepare for upcoming opportunities and continue to represent Herkimer on the regional stage.
