Herkimer Finishes 17th at NJCAA Cross Country National Championship
The Herkimer College Men's Cross Country team finished in 17th place at the NJCAA Division III National Championships held at Richmond, VA this Saturday.
The Generals were led by sophomores Michael Green (39th place) and Donnell Davis (74th place). Green averaged a four-minute pace through each 1,000-meter split, staying consistent throughout the race. Davis started out the race at a fast pace, running his first 2,000-meters at 7:01.9, but maintained an average pace of 4:15 through the final 5,000-meters.
Sophomore Bryan Doyle competed in his final cross country race for the Generals, finishing in 128th place with an overall time of 39:21.6.
Freshmen John Campagna (102nd place), Cameron Voce (127th place) and Landon Davidson (132nd place) each competed in their first National Championship.
