The Herkimer Generals set the tone early with relentless defensive pressure, jumping out to a 40–24 halftime lead and cruising to an 80–50 victory over the Corning Red Barons.
Herkimer's defense was dominant throughout the contest, holding Corning to just 26 percent shooting for the game and forcing tough looks on nearly every possession. The Generals controlled the pace on both ends of the floor, never allowing the Red Barons to mount a serious run.
Amyia Carter led the Generals offensively with 14 points, while Molly Rifanburg made her presence felt on the glass, pulling down a game-high 11 rebounds.
With the win, the Generals look to keep their momentum going as they hit the road to face Adirondack on January 24, 2026.
