Generals get a key Conference Win Against SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves
On Saturday, the Generals made the trip to Queensbury, NY and took on Adirondack CC in a Mountain Valley Conference matchup. This was the first matchup in a year as Adirondack did not field a team last season.
On Saturday, the Generals made the trip to Queensbury, NY and took on Adirondack CC in a Mountain Valley Conference matchup. This was the first matchup in a year as Adirondack did not field a team last season.
The Generals took care of business with a record setting 111-18 win. In the matchup, Freshman Molly Rifanburg (Edmeston) set career highs with 23 points and 13 rebounds to lead the Generals. Freshman point guard Nevaeh Spencer (Brooklyn) scored a game high 26 points, adding 9 rebounds, 8 assists and a Herkimer record 14 steals.
Herkimer would also set single game records (since 2000) with the most points in a game, fewest points allowed, most field goals made in a game, and steals.
The win improves Herkimers record to 11-7 on the season.
