Generals’ Season Ends in Hard-Fought Quarterfinal Loss to Mohawk Valley

The Herkimer Generals women's basketball saw their postseason run come to a close Tuesday night with a hard-fought Region III quarterfinal loss to the Mohawk Valley Hawks women's basketball.

Herkimer battled throughout a tightly contested game, matching Mohawk Valley possession for possession across the first three quarters. The Generals showed balance on both ends of the floor, executing offensively while staying aggressive defensively to keep the game within reach heading into the final period.

Neveah Spencer led the way for Herkimer with an outstanding all-around performance, pacing the team in points, rebounds, and assists. Spencer's leadership and versatility kept the Generals in contention, as she consistently created scoring opportunities while contributing on the glass and facilitating the offense.

However, a late fourth-quarter slowdown proved costly. After staying within striking distance for much of the game, Herkimer struggled to maintain offensive rhythm down the stretch.
