Generals Continue Progress at RPI Capital District Classic

The Generals were led by solid performances in the sprint events. Freshman Nevaeh Spencer delivered a strong showing in the 100-meter dash, placing fourth overall with a time of 13.04, while also competing in the 400 meters. Teammate Amiya Carter added a standout effort in the 200-meter dash, finishing 11th with a time of 27.42.
Herkimer also saw contributions from multiple athletes across sprint events, including Jayda Joseph and others who continued to gain valuable experience against a deep and competitive field. In the 400-meter dash, both Spencer and Carter competed against a large group of athletes, continuing to build consistency and confidence as the season progresses.
As a team, the Generals scored points and finished tied for 11th overall, competing against a lineup that featured several NCAA programs and top regional competition.
The Capital District Classic provided another important opportunity for Herkimer to measure progress and fine-tune performances ahead of the championship portion of the season. With continued growth and development, the Generals will look to build on these results as they prepare for upcoming meets and postseason competition.
