Bio

Terry McKane brings a championship pedigree and over three decades of coaching experience to the Herkimer College women’s volleyball program. With a career record of 415-118, McKane is one of the most successful volleyball coaches in the region. His résumé includes six Section III titles, 15 CSC League championships, and five selections as Section III Class C Coach of the Year.

McKane is also a seasoned educator, serving as a Physical Education teacher at Mt. Markham Central School, where he has long been a respected leader both in the classroom and on the court. In addition to his volleyball success, he has guided Mt. Markham’s tennis program to four Section III Class C team championships.

He holds an associate degree from Broome Community College (1987), a bachelor's degree in Physical Education from SUNY Cortland (1990), and a master’s degree in Athletic Education from West Virginia University (1994).

McKane’s wealth of experience, proven success, and commitment to student-athlete development make him a valuable asset to the Generals athletics program.
