Generals Clamp Down Defensively to Defeat TC3, 62–50

The Herkimer County Community College Generals used a strong defensive effort and balanced contributions to earn a 62–50 victory over Tompkins Cortland Community College (TC3).

The game was tightly contested early, but Herkimer steadily gained control by limiting TC3's scoring opportunities and converting key possessions on the offensive end. The Generals' defense set the tone throughout the contest, helping them build and maintain a double-digit advantage down the stretch.

Josiah Smith paced the Generals offensively with a team-high 13 points, providing consistent scoring when needed. On the boards, Xavier Cardona was a force, leading Herkimer with eight rebounds, including five on the offensive glass that created valuable second-chance opportunities.

Off the bench, Matthew Jolivert sparked the offense, leading the team in assists with three while helping keep the Generals organized and efficient.
