The Herkimer Generals were unable to overcome a sluggish first half, falling 88–73 to the SUNY Adirondack Timberwolves on the road.
Herkimer struggled to find an offensive rhythm early and was held to 35 percent shooting for the game, making it difficult to close the gap despite improved play in the second half. Adirondack capitalized on the slow start to build a lead that the Generals could not erase.
Xavier Cardona led Herkimer with a team-high 28 points, providing a consistent scoring presence throughout the contest. Elijah Pagan battled on the boards, pulling down 10 rebounds, while Josiah Smith once again paced the offense with seven assists.
The Generals will look to bounce back as they return home to face the Fulton-Montgomery Raiders on January 27, 2026.
