The Herkimer Generals men's lacrosse dropped a hard-fought contest to Genesee Community College Cougars men's lacrosse, falling by a final score of 12–10 in a tightly contested matchup.
Herkimer battled throughout the game, keeping the score close from start to finish in a competitive back-and-forth effort. Despite the loss, the Generals showed resilience and intensity on both ends of the field.
Defensively, Teddy Friend anchored the team in net with 15 saves, making several key stops to keep Herkimer within striking distance. His performance helped limit scoring runs and gave the Generals opportunities to respond offensively.
On the offensive side, Ryan Hoyt led the way with three goals, continuing to be a consistent scoring presence for Herkimer. Rick Attleson contributed with an assist, helping facilitate the Generals' attack.
