Herkimer, NY – The Herkimer men's soccer team defeated Fulton-Montgomery CC 2-0 to improve to a 5-0-0 record. Freshman Shuntaro Morimoto (Kanagawa, Japan) scored the first goal of the game in the 50th minute off an assist from sophomore Aseong Choi (Yangsan, South Korea). Freshman Sora Watanabe (Aichi, Japan) finished off the scoring in the 84th minute off an assist from sophomore Ali Somow (Utica, NY).
Freshman goalkeeper Cathal Carney (Springfield, Massachusetts) recorded two saves in 90 minutes of action.
The #2 nationally ranked Generals return to action on Wednesday where they will host Onondaga CC. Kick off is at 7:30pm at Wehrum Stadium.
