The Herkimer Generals Men's Basketball team responded in a big way Wednesday night, earning a commanding 89-49 road win over Hudson Valley Community College.
Herkimer set the tone early, jumping out to a strong lead and never relinquishing control. The Generals showcased balanced scoring with six players finishing in double figures, led by Damari Holder and Matthew Jolivert, who each posted 13 points.
On the glass, Andrew Stallmer anchored the effort with 14 rebounds, while Xavier Cardona added 10, helping Herkimer control possession and momentum throughout the contest.
Defensively, the Generals were outstanding, holding the Vikings to under 25% shooting from the field and limiting offensive opportunities.
Herkimer will look to build on the momentum as they hit the road again on November 21st to face Erie Community College at 5:00 PM.
