The Generals trailed by just six points at the break, but the Cougars came out firing in the second half, pouring in 45 points to pull away. Despite the loss, Herkimer saw strong individual performances, as Xavier Cardona led the Generals with 14 points, while Andrew Stallmer controlled the glass with eight rebounds.
Herkimer will look to bounce back in their next contest as they return home to face the Corning Red Barons on Sunday, January 18th, 2026.
