Herkimer's defense controlled the pace throughout the night, forcing tough shots and limiting second-chance opportunities as the Generals steadily built their lead. The win improves Herkimer to 4–2 in Mountain Valley Conference play.
Xavier Cardona once again led the Generals offensively with a game-high 23 points. Josiah Smith directed the offense with seven assists, while Elijah Pagan was active on the glass, pulling down 10 rebounds.
The Generals will look to continue their strong conference play as they head back on the road to face the Jefferson Cannoneers on January 29, 2026.
