After a competitive first half, the Generals raised the intensity on both ends of the floor following the break, creating separation with consistent scoring and disciplined defense. Herkimer's ability to control the tempo and capitalize on key possessions proved to be the difference as the game wore on.
Kenny Freeman led all scorers with 22 points, setting the tone offensively and providing steady production throughout the contest. On the glass, the Generals showed a balanced effort, as Elijah Pagan, Xavier Cardona, Josiah Smith, and Freeman each grabbed five rebounds to help Herkimer maintain control inside.
Devan Cooper orchestrated the offense, leading the team in assists and keeping teammates involved as the Generals extended their lead in the second half.
