Herkimer applied steady pressure throughout the contest, setting the tone early and maintaining control on both ends of the floor. The Generals' consistent defensive effort and efficient offense allowed them to build momentum and keep Corning at bay down the stretch.
Elijah Pagan led the way offensively, pouring in 22 points while shooting an efficient 8-for-13 from the field. Xavier Cardona was dominant on the glass, controlling the boards with a game-high 12 rebounds to help fuel the Generals' effort.
With the win, Herkimer gains valuable momentum as they prepare to return home. The Generals will host the Clinton Cougars next on January 21, 2026.
